Proteas in semis after dramatic tie: 2013 CT#9 RSA v WIN (Cardiff)

Kieron Pollard was caught off the last ball and South Africa advanced to the Champions Trophy semi-finals after their rain-affected Group B match against West Indies was tied on the Duckworth-Lewis method.

A superb 73 off 63 balls from Colin Ingram and scores of 38 from David Miller and 37 from captain A B de Villiers helped the Proteas post 230 for 6. In reply, Chris Gayle (36) went on the offensive and Marlon Samuels (48) and Pollard (28) put West Indies on course for a win until the last ball brain snap by Pollard as the rain was falling.

South Africa 230 for 6 in 31 overs (Ingram 73, Dwayne Bravo 2-43) tied with West Indies 190 for 6 in 26.1 overs (D/L method).
