India win cup with Nehra & Zaheer pace: Asia Cup Final (Dambulla)
India won the Asia Cup for the first time since 1995 with an 81 run victory over defending champions Sri Lanka after their paceman cut through the home team's top order.
India made 268 for 6 Karthik 66 after looking good for a 300 plus score at the half way mark. In reply Sri Lanka were dismissed for 187 in 44.4 overs with only Kapugedera 55 not out showing fight. Nehra 440 Zaheer 236 and Kumar 129 had Sri Lanka at 551 in the 16th over.
