Thilan ton and Malinga blitz in cracking win : Compaq Cup ODI (RPS)

Thilan Samaraweera's maiden ODI century 104 and 4-28 from Lasith Malinga helped Sri Lanka beat New Zealand by 97 runs.

Samaraweera and Angelo Mathews 51 put on a century stand as Sri Lanka recovered from 69-5 to finish with a respectable 216-7.

In reply, the Kiwis were shot out for 119 with only Elliot 41 showing any resistance on a variable pitch.
