Imrans comments were out of order: Botham on 1992 World Cup Final

Who is the greatest: Botham vs Hadlee

The 1980s saw the emergence of 4 great all-rounders in world cricket - Kapil Dev, Ian Botham, Imran Khan and Richard Hadlee. All vying for the title of the best ever all-rounder. Now, one of the quartet is picked as the best. Its none other than Imran - picked by Richard Hadlee himself in this interview with Michael Atherton. The Sky Sports commentary team which includes Ian Botham discuss the relative merits of the 4 great all rounders. June 2008.

Yeah, this kinda makes sense. Imran and Botham were the best batsmen amongst this quartet, and Imran was a better bowler than Beefy in all conditions.

Botham did not look pleased that Hadlee picked Imran over him. Ha, Ha.

Beefy did concede that Hadlee was the best bowler of the 4. He was probably just peeved that Imran got picked ahead of him by Hadlee.
