Steve Waugh - Crash Landing in Kandy
"My nose could have gone through my brain." was how Steve Waugh described his sickening clash with Jason Gillespie.
The Australian pair collided while trying to take a catch during the first Test in Kandy in 1999, leaving Gillespie with a broken leg and Waugh a broken nose.
Sri Lanka went onto win the 1st Test and take the rain affected series 1-0.
