Record: Edrich strokes triple century (1965)

English opener John Edrich scores a monumental 310 not out in 450 balls as England made 546 for 4 declared during the 3rd Test at Leeds.

Edrich's 52 Fours is a record for any Test innings. He also scored 5 Sixers.

NZ collapsed for 193 and 166 and England win by an innings 187 runs. England won the series 3-0.

Edrich was dropped for the next test with the selectors citing his slow scoring during this triple century as the main cause.
