Sri Lanka sniff win after Herath ten: 2nd Test, Day 4 (Harare)

Veteran spinner Rangana Herath registered his second five-wicket haul in the Test to bowl Sri Lanka to the cusp of victory as Zimbabwe ended on 180-7.

Zimbabwe were reduced to 39 for three before a 74-run stand for the fourth wicket between Sean Williams and Craig Ervine briefly revived them. 

Earlier, Sri Lanka began the fourth morning on 102 for 4 and pushed onto 258-9 declared with Karunaratne making 88.

Zimbabwe 272 and 180 for 7 (Ervine 65*, Herath 5-45) need another 311 runs to beat Sri Lanka 504 and 258 for 9 dec (Karunaratne 88, Kusal Perera 62, Cremer 4-91, Mumba 3-67).
