Bradmanesque: Profile of the Don

Needing just four runs for a Test batting average of 100, Don Bradman was bowled by Eric Hollies for a duck in his last innings.

His team during this Ashes tour in 1948 remained unbeaten and was named as The Invincibles. The "little bloke", as he was known to his contemporaries, was a phenomenon: the greatest ever run-scorer.

In a first-class career lasting 21 years and three months he made a century once every three innings and averaged 95.14.
