Astle la Vista: Kiwis in the Carribean (1996)

After the disappointment of a failed a World Cup campaign the two semi finalists New Zealand and West Indies squared off for a One Day and Test series in the Caribbean.

In a hard fought series the Windies emerged a narrow winner with a 3-2 series win.

In the 2 test series the Windies took the series with a 10 wicket win in the first test a match in which a courageous Nathan Astle made his first test century of 125. He followed this up with a 103 in the drawn second test.
